About the work

For women looking for care that doesn’t rush, override or fix them, but instead works with their body’s intelligence.

For women looking for care that doesn’t rush, override or fix them, but instead works with their body’s intelligence.

About the work

This work is for women who sense that their body is asking for something more attentive, more relational, and more honest than what they’ve found with reproductive health so far. For women seeking care that moves at their pace and collaborates with the body’s innate wisdom. Often, they find themselves at a threshold: after birth, loss, illness, or years of pushing through, and may be experiencing pelvic pain, tension, disconnection, UTIs, incontinence, fatigue, or a quiet sense that something isn’t right. This work is especially aligned for women who simply want to feel more at home in their body.

understand my philosophy

I experience it as a lifelong devotion; one that evolves as I listen more closely to the body’s subtle guidance. Over time, this listening has led me through many lenses, from self-massage and meditation to biomechanical and lymphatic work, each responding to what the body is asking for next.

My relationship with pelvic health is ongoing.

And that the body can open what words cannot.

understand my philosophy

I believe in a way of relating to the pelvis that begins with trust; not suspicion.
With listening —not fixing.

My relationship with pelvic health is ongoing.

I experience it as a lifelong devotion; one that evolves as I listen more closely to the body’s subtle guidance. Over time, this listening has led me through many lenses, from self-massage and meditation to biomechanical and lymphatic work, each responding to what the body is asking for next.

I have always found myself supporting women through experiences of the body, sexuality, and mystery. It wasn’t something I chose so much as something that followed me; a role shaped by presence, care, and deep listening. An unexpected diagnosis of severe cervical dysplasia (CIN 3) asked me to return my attention to the root. Through devoted listening and a willingness to tend old wounds, my work in this field clarified and deepened. My understanding of pelvic care is also shaped by lived experience. I have experienced four pregnancies; including losses and the birth of my son, Sorrel; and hold a deep respect for the complexity, vulnerability, and power of the reproductive journey. I share this not to explain myself, but to say: I know. I know the complexity of pregnancy; its beauty, confusion, awe, and vulnerability. I know the disorientation of an unexpected pregnancy, and the grief that can accompany loss. These experiences have informed my capacity to meet others with steadiness, nuance, and respect. On my personal health journey, I learned that it was not about fixing my body. It is about learning how to listen; patiently, skillfully, and without force; so that change can emerge from within.

There is a wide spectrum of pelvic care. Some approaches are highly clinical. Others are primarily spiritual or ritual-based. I respect and have learned from both. My work lives in the space between– a place I know well. I listen through the body; anatomically, emotionally, and energetically; offering care that is practical and deeply felt. This allows me to work both precisely and perceptively, offering care that is grounded, accessible, and capable of meeting deeper layers when they arise.

my work honours the body on these 3 levels:

I used to be a dance instructor. Coming from a strongly athletic family, but with the soul of a poet and the heart of an artist, I found my way into movement through dance. While I had a natural ease with classical ballet, its rigidity eventually led to a longstanding hip issue; an early lesson in what happens when expression is restricted. In my mid-twenties, teaching choreography and Animal Flow opened a new relationship to movement, but it was the discovery of ecstatic dance that brought me home to my body. Letting go of performance took time. Gradually, I learned to follow sensation; responding to music, others, and my own internal rhythms. I’ve had my fair share of tears on the dance floor, and learned how movement can open what words cannot. I came to understand what it means to listen with the whole body, a practice that continues to inform my work.

Movement can open what words cannot.

Brianna Grace is a doula, mother, holistic pelvic floor practitioner, and student of Chinese medicine.

Rooted in lived experience, multidisciplinary studies, and deep listening, her advanced training in Holistic Pelvic Care™ with Tami Lynn Kent and Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy add to her lifelong fluency with the thresholds of birth, loss, and transformation.

Brianna’s nine years of frontline harm-reduction work and devoted plant-medicine study have helped hone her energetic presence, refining her way of working with the body. Bri draws from workshops with Dr. Gabor Maté (trauma-informed), Kimberly Ann Johnson (nervous system + somatics), Malcom Clark (multidisciplinary bodywork) and Adelaide Meadow (biomechanics of pelvic floor + birth). Beyond the various mediums of study, Bri has learned the most through spending hours on the table of gifted healers, stubbornly and lovingly committed to her body. Unlike most pelvic floor physiotherapy, which focuses primarily on assessment, Bri’s pelvic care sessions centre on attunement and hands-on recalibration—following the body’s own intelligence to unwind, realign, and restore connection. She meets women with reverence, humour, and unwavering curiosity in the sacred hoop of life, where all things meet. As Dr. Jeannie Achuff transitions out of clinical practice, she has been training Bri closely and is entrusting her pelvic floor clients to Brianna’s continued support.

in addition to my formal training

I have learned the most from lived experience; the hours that I have spent on the table of gifted healers, such as Malcom Clark, Catherine Fox, Julia Stolk, Dr. Yin, and Dr. Jeannie Achuff have influenced my work greatly. I previously worked with four different pelvic floor physiotherapists— all of which missed the mark (and sometimes our greatest teachers are those in which we learn how we don’t want to practice). Enter my work with Jeannie, which led to a supportive and ongoing mentorship. I have done multiple intensives with Malcom, building the foundation of my own personal practices and the multidisciplinary bodywork that fills the gaps between the above listed modalities. I have spent countless hours in ceremony, plant medicine devotions, and the humbling, bring-me-to-my-knees initiations of loss, and transformation. I raise my hands to my teachers; Courtney Jeffery, Athena Naia, Jason Dornbush, Jeremy Sills, Jennifer Apedaile, and of course— my son, his father and the unseen. A deep bow of gratitude and respect to the Shipibo and Matses tribes for the shared teachings and entrusting my teachers with the wisdom of their lineages.
